How Much Is My Old Apple Watch Worth?

With the newest Apple watch released in September 2020, there are definitely a group of people who are looking to trade in their older version of Apple watch for the newest one. Apple has launched 8 models of watches (including Apple Watch Series 0) up till date and all of them come with more functions and features as compared to the previous version.
How much is your old Apple watch worth if you are trading in with Apple? Find out the value below, or visit Apple’s trade in site here.
Upon reaching the site, scroll down slightly and click on ‘Watch’. Enter the watch’s model number and click ‘Search’.
To get your watch’s model number, open the Apple Watch application on your iPhone. Tap on ‘My Watch’ tab, ‘General’ à ‘About’. The model number starts with “M”.
After entering the model number, it will redirect you to the next page where five questions about the watch will be asked – power, display, keys & buttons, enclosure, and liquid damage.
Finally, you’ll get the quoted value by Apple on the last page.
For convenience, we have checked the worth of all the older versions of Apple watches and compounded them in the tables below for you. All prices are in SGD. This is assuming that the watch is:
- Able to power up and function normally,
- Display is in good condition,
- Buttons are working well,
- Enclosure is in good condition, and
- Device is free from liquid contact.

Now that you know the value of your old Apple Watch, would you rather trade it in at Apple or sell it off on Carousell? Well, the choice is yours but it is always recommended to trade it in at Apple stores due to the amount of low-ballers on Carousell.
